Je to tzv. aluminosilik\u00e1tov\u00fd miner\u00e1l, p\u0159i jeho\u017e tvorb\u011b zasahovalo v\u00edce vliv\u016f \u2013 sope\u010dn\u00fd prach, vysok\u00e1 teplota a prudk\u00e9 ochlazen\u00ed v mo\u0159sk\u00e9 vod\u011b, \u010d\u00edm\u017e do\u0161lo k neobvykl\u00e9mu jevu \u2013 uvnit\u0159 horniny se objevila soustava mikroskopick\u00fdch dutin. D\u00edky t\u00e9to unik\u00e1tn\u00ed struktu\u0159e je zeolit vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n v r\u016fzn\u00fdch sf\u00e9r\u00e1ch lidsk\u00e9 \u010dinnosti.  Zeolit v akvaristice  N\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed akvarist\u00e9 jej dob\u0159e znaj\u00ed, nebo\u0165 jim usnad\u0148uje chov i velmi choulostiv\u00fdch druh\u016f ryb a mimo jin\u00e9 i krevet. Vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 se ke dv\u011bma z\u00e1kladn\u00edm aplikac\u00edm \u2013 bu\u010f jako filtra\u010dn\u00ed m\u00e9dium, podobn\u011b jako to b\u00fdv\u00e1 v baz\u00e9nech, anebo jako aktivn\u00ed dnov\u00fd substr\u00e1t pro v\u00fdsev akvarijn\u00edch rostlin. Vyu\u017eit\u00ed v akvaristice m\u00e1 n\u011bkolik p\u0159\u00ednos\u016f. V prvn\u00ed \u0159ad\u011b je to materi\u00e1l velmi levn\u00fd, tak\u017ee va\u0161i pen\u011b\u017eenku rozhodn\u011b neprov\u011btr\u00e1. Zeolit je dekorativn\u00ed, m\u00e1 sv\u011btlou barvu, tak\u017ee l\u00e9pe odr\u00e1\u017e\u00ed um\u011bl\u00e9 i denn\u00ed sv\u011btlo a t\u00edm p\u0159isp\u00edv\u00e1 k r\u016fstu rostlin. Z vody absorbuje jedovat\u00fd \u010dpavek (amoniak) a dal\u0161\u00ed toxick\u00e9 dus\u00edkat\u00e9 l\u00e1tky a naopak do n\u00ed uvol\u0148uje n\u011bkter\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edzniv\u00e9 miner\u00e1ln\u00ed ionty.  Zeolit u baz\u00e9nu  Z\u00e1m\u011brn\u011b jsme zvolili nadpis \u201eu baz\u00e9nu\u201c, nebo\u0165 se tento miner\u00e1l nesype p\u0159\u00edmo do n\u00e1dr\u017ee na koup\u00e1n\u00ed, ale je skryt\u00fd ve filtra\u010dn\u00ed n\u00e1dob\u011b, kudy voda pouze proud\u00ed. Zeolit se star\u00e1  http:\/\/www.starahospoda.cz\/ o d\u016fkladnou o\u010distu z ji\u017e v\u00fd\u0161e uveden\u00fdch d\u016fvod\u016f, uvnit\u0159 miner\u00e1lu se nach\u00e1z\u00ed velmi mal\u00e9 dutinky, kde se ne\u010distoty zachyt\u00e1vaj\u00ed, z vody je j\u00edm\u00e1n \u010dpavek a z\u00e1rove\u0148 drobn\u00e1 zrnka vodu filtruj\u00ed \u00fapln\u011b stejn\u011b, jako k\u0159emi\u010dit\u00fd filtra\u010dn\u00ed p\u00edsek, tedy na povrchu zrn. Zrna mus\u00ed m\u00edt p\u0159esnou velikost mezi 0,6 a 1,2 mm, kdyby byla v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed, filtrace by nebyla dostate\u010dn\u011b \u00fa\u010dinn\u00e1, a u men\u0161\u00edch zrnek by zas hrozilo zaseknut\u00ed a sp\u00e1len\u00ed elektromotoru \u010derpadla.
